We all agree the economic outlook for most businesses is uncertain, due to the general economy and the “credit crunch”. The recruitment industry is also faced with increased costs from new employment legislation and is understandably reluctant to absorb the associated cost increases.
Despite this there have been predictions of a continued rise in the number of vacancies over the first half of the year and if the trend continues until March 2008, the recruitment industry is set to post a record level of income at £29.3bn. However, the latter half of 2008 is not predicted to be not quiet as rosy.
