No doubt it will be the recruitment site TheLadders.
Since it launched in the US in 2004, and now claims more than two million jobseekers and 30,000 recruiters are signed up to the site. Backed by angel funding in 2004 and then $7.23m of venture money later that year, the business expanded to the UK this January, bringing the total number of staff of 221.
How “TheLadders” Works:
1) Post an online CV
2) You will get nine emails in three days and not one is about a job and six are about upgrading to “Platinum Membership”
3) So, why not, Pay the “Platinum Membership”
4) You will end up with a lot of garbage. You will get more results doing your own networking on LinkedIn, Twitter search and gist.com (for FREE).
But wait, there’s more. TheLadders might be for sale!!
